Update-Lesson- Announcement

Sorry it’s been so long since I’ve written. Been busy trying to get a few businesses off the ground. So I want to give  you a lesson- update and an announcement.
Let’s start with the lesson and see where we go from there ok? YOU MIGHT EVEN WANT TO PRINT THIS ONE OUT !!!!

LESSON # 1

One of the things that will absolutely kill your business is NOT COMMUNICATING with your clients. I am not going to go into a long discussion here to prove that fact to you — it is obvious. But it doesn’t have to be hard work.

1. You can communicate on-line with what are known as auto-responders. They are pre-programmed e-mail messages that you write once and than schedule to go out at regular intervals that you choose. For one of my businesses that I am no longer involved in ( more on that story later in this article) I wrote 472 e-mail autoresponders. Guess what – that business grew into a multi-million dollar on-line business in less than 18 months. In fact , you couldn’t stop the sales unless you shut down the site. It’s sort of like RONCO’s “SET IT AND FORGET IT !”
There is a science to it but maybe we will save that for another post.

2. You can and must communicate with your list off-line as well. Best way to do that is with a monthly newsletter. When I owned LoanOfficerSuccess I sent all of my members a monthly newsletter — and offered a done for you service as well. I can’t tell you how many thank you ‘s I got from my members who used it and generated consistent closed deals.
Again- there is a science to it – like what devices you need to insert to get and read and responded to but that’s also something we’ll save for another post.

All Rightey than- Let’s move on to an update of where the hell I’ve been and what I have been up to.
I recently permanently disengaged from a very un-healthy partnership. Strange that this was a very profitable relationship but mentally not a good one. I won’t name names but this person is still around and is actually very smart but has started to “drink his own Koolaid” so to speak.
LESSON #2 — Actually here are  2 lessons packed in one.
First- If you are in an unhealthy relationship or partnership – it will NOT get better so get out.
Second- As soon as you or someone you are affiliated with begins to believe they are THE BEST- you can simply sit back and watch for their fall.
I have been told many times by many people that I am constantly irritated. That’s a good thing because I am never ever satisfied and am always trying to do better.

So for the past year I have been trying to untangle myself from this partnership – Unfortunately with the aid of expensive attorneys. BUT NOW I’M BACK !

Announcement- Don’t worry I’m going to sell you anything so sit back and keep reading !
I started looking back at my skill set and trying to match that with what I enjoyed doing the most!

RE- READ THAT– IT”S EASILY LESSON #3

What I came up with is

1. I like helping small businesses and practices succeed.
2. I love direct marketing whether it’s on -line of off-line.
3. I hate watching struggling businesses spend money on programs or other campaigns
or advertising that simply won’t and doesn’t produce results.
4. I love having continuity income.
5. I love scaling up a business using my marketing expertise.
6. I love letters and e-mails from people I have helped
7.  I love masterminding with like minded – success oriented and driven to succeed people.

ALL THAT”S NICE – SO WHAT ARE YOU DOING???? AND WHY SHOULD I CARE???

I am acutally doing a few things. Truthfully, I am NOT sure why you should care only you can make that determination.
— I am working with a friend and former coaching client to take advantage of this real-estate mess.

— I am working on building an on-line publishing company where we will offer affiliate products and our own.

– Have started a new company called Trackable Results that will help small businesses make their on-line and off -line marketing accountable and trackable
This will also involve using all of my skills in copywriting, marketing, persuasion, time management etc.

I will be helping these business owners save money and increase profits ( not just revenue) and am hoping this will lead to a mastermind group of like minded success oriented folks that meet several times a year.
This is a concept that I have both participated in and lead and is suggested in THINK AND GROW RICH. ( re-read it if you haven’t done so yet)

So there you have it..

I am able to take on a few clients right now who need some on-line and off- line help with their marketing while I ramp up these busiensses.
