I have been very active in several non-profit organizations and am currently the President of a National charity. It’s always a challange trying to get our board together and coordinate committee meetings. So I am going to tell our executive director to start using this today. Certainly can’t beat the price.

NOW THE LESSON(S) !  YUP – 2 not just 1

First — always try to automate so you can be more efficient AND more effective.

Second- It’s always good to do good!  I can’t tell you how many great contacts I have made through my charitable work. People that I would have never had occassion to run into and others who simply travel in circles that I don’t travel in. In fact over the years I have gotten to know famous actors, Politicians and even Prime Ministers on a first name basis.

NOW — BEFORE YOU START THINKING INCORRECTLY – Don’t ever work for a charity for the spinoff benefits I mentioned above. ONLY do charitable work because it’s the right thing to do.

BUT – I have always found when you do good–good things somehow find a way back to you.
