What I want to discuss today is very emotional but also a little harsh. That doesn’t mean it isn’t important- It’s actually one of the most important aspects of lasting success.

WHAT AM I TALKING ABOUT?
I’m talking about your spouse or significant other. You know – the person you spend most of your free time with. Often times the one you take for granted.

I was recently thinking a great deal about this. My wife and I have been married for 21 years. Sounds corny but I really can’t remember a time when I wasn’t with her.

THERE ARE ONLY 2 KINDS OF PARTNERS

THe ones who are with you for all the ups and downs and the ones who simply throw in the towel when the going does get rough. One thing for sure — Sooner or later it will get rough. Could be financial , emotional or a whole host of other issues but things will not ALWAYS be perfect.

I didn’t mean this to be too philosophical but guess I can’t help it. See my wife started with me being broke. I mean dead broke. Actually it was worse- I was 40,000 in debt and had ZERO to my name. So I can now never accuse her of marrying for money.

IS YOUR THE PERSON YOU LOVE ALSO A PERSON YOU LIKE? YUP! I DID ask you that question. Because I often find many of my clients in love with people they don’t really like. People who don’t support them . Often , Unfortunately people who actually put them down and then emotionally kick them. Maybe even physically kick them as was the case with one of my clients ( BTW- His wife was much stronger mentally and physically then he was.)

WHY AM I DISCUSSING THIS HERE? Simply because without a supportive partner , who truly has your best interests at heart you won’t succeed. You can’t !!!! It’s simply impossible.

I could go into the psycho -cybernetics discussion here but I won’t. But you need to decide if your partner is really on your team or not. Yes — this is not an easy discussion. But it is critical!!!
Now honestly I know most  of you reading this will simply click off and move on to whatever you were doing. That’s ok I understand.
But  if you truly -more than anything in the world- want to achieve your dreams financially- Your partner will have to be patient – really patient!!! They will have to believe in you even when you are coming up with that crazy outside the box idea ( you know – the one that will work if you really dedicate yourself to making it happen)

MY WIFE FOR EXAMPLE- will ask me about the idea- Why I like it . She will discuss it and actually beat it to death with me going over the pros and cons. But in the end – She is behind me 100%. She helps me believe in me even when I am doubting myself.

SO HERE’S WHAT YOU SHOULD DO NEXT ! IN FACT DO IT RIGHT NOW !
