That took six months and a lot of investment dollars. Then when we cranked up, the lenders did not quite know how to understand what it was that we were doing and if we were really legal (lots of fraud out there). Finally we are moving but cash flow is very tight. Our business model is based on volume and the volume is not at the level that we need just yet. I had to separate myself from the negative people that kept questioning everything we were doing and focus on those that wanted to do business. My home life was suffering from time invested in the business and littlle income. I have also had to separate myself from this negativity. My time with my spouse is limited to functioning as a family and taking care of necessities. No bitching sessions are tolerated. Complaining about working too much and complaining about not having income for the family both did not make sense.(Hey! she took it well and even said that she understood.) My partner and I met and decided to open up our recruiting and marketing and try to develop the volume that we need to accomplish our goals. The nicest thing about this decision is that our existing members have started increasing their business and I know that our timing is right to make the other things fall in place with the marketing plan. Just do something. It will make other things work.
