2nd WEEK OF JANUARY- And A Cool TOOL

2weeks down so far in 2009. Do you KNOW Where YOUR GOALS ARE?  Be honest with yourself here. My goals were to lose some weight and stop smoking ( personal goals) My business goal is to grow one of my new community sites to over 1000 active members in the next 12 months ( www.loanofficerformula.com)

I have a few cool tools here for you but first let me tell you where I am … So far I am NOT on track with the weight thing ( need to lose about 25 pounds) But I am on track with the other personal goal and am down to 5-7 cigarettes a day from the 30-40 I used to smoke. Business wise I now have a deadline for the launch of my site which is in about 3-4 weeks.

Let me share a few important tactics with you as they relate to goals and actions.

– It takes about 11 days to change a habit. Best way I have found to do this is to first break your routine. Second to have constant reminders of your goals and actually set aside time for implementation. If you leave it to chance you will always be too busy.

– Tackle that goal all at once…. This whole thing about doing things sequentially is just BS! Just go do it. First you committ to accomplishing it NO MATTER WHAT– Then start doing. It WILL fall into place eventually so never give up.

–Knowledge is POWER– ONLY IF– It is accompanied by MASSIVE ACTION.

I am writing this on a weekend yet I am so juiced up about my business goal that I have spent the last 6 hours straight working on my  community site. Know what? Felt like just 10 minutes.

That’s what happens when you are lazer focused and have your goals clearly in mind.
